Duo Hinge Damage

They regard it as the most repairable foldable smartphone on the market given how easy it is to access many of the components and how little glue is holding things down compared to Google & Samsung’s phones do it. But they also got deep into the hinge and they suspect that it’s the center bar area that’s causing unnecessary strain when folding that could be the reason why all the cracking Duos are popping up on day 1. It’s likely that this is a manufacturing defect since so many users aren’t having this particular problem and the folks who are, are describing similar failing situations with crunching noises and similar death lines.
